We design and produce embedded software and devices such as electronic passports and identity cards, two-factor authentication devices for online protection, smart credit/debit and contactless payment cards, as well as subscriber identification modules (SIM) and universal integrated circuit cards (UICC) in mobile phones. We also supply wireless modules and machine identification modules (MIM) for M2M. To operate these solutions and remotely manage the software and confidential data contained in the secure devices Gemalto provides server platforms, consulting, training, and managed services to help its customers achieve their goals.

We draw on this to develop and install secure software in diverse products used to access digital services. Gemalto and Digital Security
Gemalto's Digital Security solutions are the outcome of our long-standing experience in this field. We develop secure software and operating systems which we embed in billions of trusted devices of many kinds, like UICC cards, banking cards, electronic passports and ID cards, dongles with one-time passwords and so on. We assemble these devices at our sites worldwide, and then individually personalize millions of them every single day under various security certification schemes.
