The DGI essentially has five (5) major missions:
Mission of design, preparation of legislative and regulatory texts, international conventions of a fiscal nature;
- Assessment, liquidation and control missions;
- Recovery missions;
- Mission to manage tax services and personnel administration;
These are the missions of reform of the State's movable property .
The DGI investigates tax disputes arising from the exercise of its missions.
Among other specific missions, the DGI examines applications for approval to the profession of CEMAC-approved chartered accountant and tax consultant, with a view to their transmission, after advice, to the President of the CEMAC Commission via the supervisory Ministry.
