The German Embassy in Tunis is in charge of the promotion of relations between Germany and Tunisia. 

At present, the European Union has already committed to providing significant support to Tunisia; Within the framework of the United Nations, as partners of the Alliance for Multilateralism and as non-permanent members of the Security Council, Germany and Tunisia are also working closely on an effective global response to different crisis.

On site, here in Tunisia, the German Embassy in Tunis has set up a “Corona” crisis unit and works with the Tunisian Government, German organizations such as GIZ, KfW, foundations and intermediary organizations, but also with civil society and the Tunisian economy to overcome the crisis together. More specifically, bilateral programs are being developed and adapted in order to respond effectively to needs.
