Mutual consultation, trust and partnership are the core of their work with the Government of Cambodia, where they have been based since 1994.
Their ongoing work in rural development and health and social security responds to the needs of the Cambodian people, supporting them recover from the years of political strife and poverty. To provide a steady foundation during this period of transition, they also work in the area of good governance as a cross-cutting issue, to promote gender equality, political participation, transparency and to counteract corruption.
In Phnom Penh, their office works with approximately 160 national professionals and 54 international staff. Their presence in the nation’s capital since 2001 has helped build their close working relationship with the government and has fostered their cooperation with local partners.See more
