Glen Electric was established in 1973

In 1973 Glen Electric was established by Martin Naughton and four colleagues in Newry, Northern Ireland. The new business commenced manufacturing oil-filled radiators, employing 7 people.

With the acquisition of Dimplex in 1977, a company eight times Glenʼs size, and a brand leader in electric heating, the ambition of the young Glen Dimplex management team was confirmed.
