Global Girl Project is an international organization that works to create true community change in the developing world through the training, education, and empowerment of young women.

The organization partners with NGOs throughout the developing world to sponsor teenage girls aged 15 to 18 to participate in leadership training and cultural exchange programs. Through its flagship exchange program in Nepal, it brings together girls from various developing countries to learn about different cultures, languages, and religions. Through these experiences, each participant develops her own Community Action Project. Each scholar becomes a leader in her home community by implementing and running a project to address a social issue of her choosing.

As the organization grows, it is also implementing an online leadership course designed to create even greater global impact through the power, innovation, and strength of one of the world's most untapped resources—young women.
