The Global Health Technical Professionals (GHTP) program works with USAID to improve global health, international development, and humanitarian assistance outcomes in communities around the world by providing technical expertise to support current USAID programs. They are engaging and building a new generation of global health Technical Professionals who reflect the diversity of the American people and who work on the frontlines of the most significant and dynamic global health challenges of their time.
Diversity and inclusion underscore their support of Technical Professionals, USAID, and the global health field. They advocate for inclusion in the field by partnering with Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) and other organizations to provide global health career resources and options for historically underrepresented groups. In support of these efforts, they also provide the Future Global Health Leaders Program, which provides a toolkit, quarterly webinars, and office hours to a diverse group of students around the country.
