Fluor Global Location Strategies (FGLS) is a worldwide consulting firm that specializes in the optimal geographic positioning of corporate resources - people, facilities, and technology. We provide location/site selection services for corporate or divisional headquarters, industrial plants, warehouse and distribution centers, R&D facilities, call centers, data centers, back-office operations, and other business operations.

Global Location Strategies was initially created in the 1970’s as an ancillary service offering within Fluor Corporation, a Fortune 500 engineering and construction firm, at their Greenville, SC office. GLS provided site selection and economic development services during its time as a part of Fluor and continued operating in this role for over three decades.  In 2009 this service was outsourced from Fluor to Global Asset Positioning, doing business as Global Location Strategies.

GLS is led by the principals Didi Caldwell and Woody Hydrick, who have over 40 years of combined experience. GLS continues to operate out of Greenville, South Carolina and provides consulting services to companies and organizations all over the world.
