History of the Company
Golestan Regional Water Company, based on the unified article of the law on the transformation of provincial water affairs departments into regional water companies (Bill of the Government of the Republic, dated 24935/31144 dated 9/8/1383 and approved by the Parliament on 26/12/1383) , By dividing the regional water company of Mazandaran and Golestan into two regional water companies of Mazandaran and Golestan Regional Water Authority in late 2005. Following the above-mentioned resolution, the Board of Ministers approved the articles of association of the company by Decree No. 35157/33095 dated 15/6/1384. According to the General Assembly's minutes, the activities of the Golestan Regional Water Authority began in early 2006. In the implementation of the aforementioned resolution, Golestan Regional Water Company was registered on November 25, 2005 at No. 4869 at the Gorgan Registration and Real Estate Registry Office.
Long Term Purposes
Long-term goals are based on the optimal use of resources to achieve the goals set out in the 20-year vision document. Accordingly, in order to meet the water needs of the province in the drinking, industrial, agricultural and environmental sectors, mainly focusing on the use of conventional and unconventional water resources of the province as well as the transfer of water from neighboring provinces, reforming consumption patterns, culture making, increasing productivity in All areas related to company activities, maximum utilization of private sector power, financing and accelerated implementation of projects have been defined for long-term goals.
Medium term goals
Integrated management of water resources, sustainable development, optimal use of water resources and quantitative and qualitative conservation of water resources within the province, economic use of water in managed basins, basic orientation for achieving the 20-year vision of the country, planning for maximum use Definition of conventional and unconventional water resources and efforts to supply neighboring basins and to modify the pattern of consumption and increase the productivity of mid-term goals.
