It began in the year 1965, The Founder Mr. Keshavji Meghi Gosrani after completing his Engineering degree established a small workshop which catered to various major private and public companies by doing job work in component & sub assembling of machines.
He felt that this limited his scope of work and his ambitions, which eventually gave fruition to the idea of starting a company that sold standardized pumps and other machinery to the existing and later an even more diversified clientele. Thus, the year 1982, marked the establishment of GOMA Engineering Pvt. Ltd. which successfully started supplying various high pressure reciprocating pumps.
From the year 1990, the second generation of this family-owned and run, booming business decided to partner up and take it to new heights.
Mr. Jayesh Keshavji Gosrani along with Industry veterans and GOMA Engineering recognized the need for developing new generation Homogenizers in India. The Group pioneered the first 100% indigenous high pressure Homogenizer which was an import substitute, approved by National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). This is how GOMA started out to become one of India’s top three Process Technology Suppliers and grew to provide entire turnkey Projects and Process Solutions for the Food and Dairy Industry.
The year 1996, saw a new addition to the GOMA family with Mr. Chetan Keshavji Gosrani taking charge of the Pumps Division. Newer projects and cutting – edge engineering developments that would enhance and boost the sales of this division were his inspiration. Since then, the family has also undertaken the responsibility of ensuring the continuity in the growth and expansion of the verticals and departments therein by not only encouraging their future generations but every employee as their extended family.
In the year 1997, GOMA moved its manufacturing unit to Wada, which now houses a state of the art establishment, spread across 5 acres of land and is fully equipped with modern infrastructure facilities such as CNC machining and Computerized Testing.
Since year 2013, GOMA has been DSIR approved and houses a R&D centre solely for developing innovative products.
Year 2014, saw another influx of fresh new blood into this family owned business with the third generation, Miss. Kinnari Gosrani stepping in to help provide novel direction, modern perspective and help GOMA thrive & grow with the changing times.
The Founder, Mr. Keshavji has now been running the show with Mr. Jayesh and Mr. Chetan being the beacon, Miss. Kinnari as their apprentice, leading GOMA, its clientele and all its stakeholders towards a bright future.
At GOMA, the client’s needs are of utmost importance, and in that regard every task is aimed at achieving results over and above what is expected by the customers. Every project is seen as an endeavour to foster the businesses of clients, suppliers, and the company, thus promoting mutual acceleration amongst all the stakeholders involved.
