Finance Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the custodian of Provincial Exchequer and deals with the subjects pertaining to Finance of the Provincial Government and Financial matters affecting the Province as a whole, preparation of annual budget statements and supplementary/excess budget statements for the consideration of the Provincial Assembly, accounts and audits of the Provincial autonomous Organizations etc.

Moreover, Finance Department is responsible for resource management, Financial Regulation, Administration of Treasuries and Banking.
