Grupo AGRISAL is a business group from El Salvador that was established in 1906. Grupo AGRISAL specializes in the areas of real estate, hotels and automotives.
- Commercial Real Estates Development Division - Founded in 2000, is responsible for the development of commercial real estate projects (office buildings and shopping centers) at the regional level.
- Hotel Division - In 1955 a group of Salvadoran businessmen founded the Salvadoran Hotel Company, with the objective of providing El Salvador of a unique luxury hotel in Central America with a capacity of 210 rooms. In 1991 AGRISAL Group acquired a majority of the shares of Hotel El Salvador and was reopened in 1995 under the franchise and philosophy of the famous international chain Radisson, with a 200-room five star hotel and a convention center with capacity up to 3,000 people.
- Automotive Division - This division began operations in August 2000 when DaimlerChrysler AG decided to appoint AGRISAL as their agent in El Salvador, to distribute the full range of Mercedes-Benz products, ranging from luxury cars to panels, trucks, heads, minibuses and buses, including Mercedes-Benz original parts. Star Motors facility has 1,100 m2 of building housing the showrooms for cars and commercial vehicles.
Corporate Social Resposibility Initiatives
Grupo AGRISAL also runs many corporate social responsibility initiatives.
AGRISAL Group committed to the professional development of Salvadorans awarded 22 scholarships to young people through the program "We Believe in Education," an initiative started by the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn.
Fellows from different localities of El Salvador and were selected to study a Diploma in Hotel Operations, taught with the academic support of the business foundation Fepade.
