Grupo de Ecología y Conservación de Islas, AC (GECI) is a non-profit civil association. With more than 20 years of experience, project managers and coordinators, field biologists, technicians, staff and associated researchers, together with the administration, make up a strong multidisciplinary group of professionals working for conservation, sovereignty, knowledge and the sustainable development of the Mexican island territory. Due to its level of specialization and the accumulation of field and cabinet skills, it is one of the strongest teams worldwide in the area of island conservation and restoration.
