Hansen Family Hospital is a municipally-owned Critical Access Hospital located in the community of Iowa Falls. They provide Hardin County and the surrounding communities with local healthcare services and critical care. They are fully supported by the revenues of the services they provide, as well as private donations from generous contributors throughout Hardin County. They do not take in tax revenues of any kind. For more than a century, their organization has built a legacy of promoting healthy living. Their physicians, nurses and employees strive to improve the health and quality of life of all those entering their doors.
Their mission: "To inspire wellness and provide compassionate healthcare" is supported by their vision "To be the innovative leader in rural healthcare". The excellence they have achieved has been passed down through charitable-minded citizens, beginning with E.S. Ellsworth in 1902 and continues today through the generosity of the Jeff Hansen Family and the many families, individuals and businesses who inspire them all in through a spirit of innovation and healing for the next century.
In 2014, they opened a brand new hospital at 920 South Oak Street in Iowa Falls, Iowa. This new hospital is a symbol of their community's partnership and commitment to providing healthcare to the greater Hardin County area for many years to come.
