Hatua is a Swahili word that means “to take an action” or “make a step”.
Hatua Trust exists to catalyze Christians for social transformation.
Its vision is an engaged and aware citizenry. Currently, Hatua is working with faith based professional women from Nyanza and Western counties in Kenya to catalyze these professionals to impact their communities.
They seek to equip Christians with skills to take action and be effective. They identify strategies on how each person can use the concepts and ideas in their daily work to engage civic opportunities provided to them as citizens.
