Hawa Energy (Private) Limited, a company established under the laws of Pakistan, has successfully developed and constructed 49.735 MW wind power project, pursuant to the Government of Pakistan’s Energy Policy, which actively promotes investment in renewable energy, and wind power in particular. The Project is currently under operational phase and is supplying renewable power to the National Grid of Pakistan.
HAWA Wind Power Project was initiated by Mr Bruno Bucari through HAWA Holdings Limited. Investment was made later by JS group which brought in value in terms of their financial, management, and execution capabilities. Daelim Energy, Asma Capital and JCM Power also joined later and brought in their international experiences to the table.
The project is funded through 75% Debt and 25% Equity. Debt is fully funded by Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), a US Government Agency.
