Head Talks aims to inform, inspire and engage those interested in the mind and mental wellbeing.
Head Talks is a home for informative and inspiring talks on mental wellbeing and the mind.
Every person will be touched by mental illness at some point in their life, either directly or through someone who is close to them. They believe there is no single path to mental wellbeing and that people can be helped in finding what works for them through information, inspiration and discussion.
By hosting short talks with psychiatrists, academics, yogis, authors, meditation experts, politicians, nutritionists, those who have struggled with and met the challenge of mental illness, and many others with a keen interest in the mind, Mind Talks wants to enable every person to build their own personal toolbox to support mental wellbeing and stay mentally fit.
By bringing these thoughts and discussions into the open, they aim to help lift the stigma that surrounds mental illness.
HEAD TALKS IS FOR EVERYONE.
Head Talks aims to provide you with knowledge, inspiration and a sense of community so you can create your own toolbox to fix and maintain mental health.
Every one is unique and find their inspiration and sense of wellbeing from many different sources. Each of their journeys is unique, whether it’s to recovery or simply feeling better in the world.
CONNECTION IS EVERYTHING.
This is a safe place online for those who want to have healthier relationships – with themselves, with friends, families and loved ones – by focusing on improving and maintaining their mental wellbeing.
THEIR TALKS BRING MENTAL HEALTH INTO THE OPEN.
They know there’s a stigma around mental health. But they want to show that this elephant in the room has no place in the modern day. There has to be parity between physical and mental treatment. Let’s talk about it.
They will promote this view and take their message into communities via Head Talks events with the goal of having a wider impact in society, in business and in government.
