Hodge Foundation
About

The Hodge Foundation is exclusively grant making and does not raise funds from the public. It was established in 1962 by Sir Julian Hodge, an entrepreneur and banker who set up three banks during his lifetime, as well as having a wider involvement in the business community in Wales.

Originally established as The Jane Hodge Foundation in 1962, the charity was launched with a gift of £2.5 million in commemoration of Sir Julian’s mother, Jane. The Foundation has since derived its income from the businesses controlled or managed by the Hodge Family.
