HFFG walks in solidarity with Ghana’s women, youth and children.
Hope for Future Generations (HFFG) is a women-led children, youth and women-focused non-governmental organisation. Since its inception in 2001, HFFG has continuously worked to reach urban, rural and underserved communities through its interventions, with the aim of enabling members of these communities to be adequately informed and empowered to take critical decisions that will improve their quality of life.
Girls and women, in particular, have been exposed to economic, social, psychological, physical and social violence, therefore, HFFG continues to work in solidarity with women to decrease these vulnerabilities across the country. The roots of social justice to end sexual harassment, violence and discrimination against women begin from communities – both rural and urban. HFFG’s approach has been a merger between rural and urban community interventions, advocacy and interactive online tools.
To this end, HFFG has over the last 17 years, ensured gender mainstreaming and the meaningful participation of women, children and young people within society, as well as marginalised and underrepresented groups, in all our programming. The change we make in the lives of thousands of individuals across the country is as a result of the contributions and support of various stakeholders at the community, district, regional and national levels.
