The Center Hospitalier de Lens is the support establishment of the Groupement Hospitalier de Territoire de l'Artois ( GHT Artois). It is the most important hospital in Pas-de-Calais in terms of activity. It offers, with a few exceptions, all medical, surgical and obstetrical specialties.
It relies on a substantial and comprehensive technical platform (imaging, lab, operating theaters, consultations, etc.), a level 3 maternity unit, and certain activities generally limited to CHUs . It has an emergency service with very high activity and recognized as a center of appeal in the territory in several areas.
