Hydra Consulting is a boutique marine consultancy offering bespoke services in the ship/owner/bank/insurance/ chartering vetting/screening space, Incident Response planning and action, in addition consultancy services in the trading house/chartering/technical/cargo arena.

Hydra Consulting’s principle is Captain Jonathan R Stoneley who has many years experience in senior positions with the worlds largest trading houses and in the vetting/incident response/technical/cargo  arena. Key experiences  :

• -20 years with Cargill’s Ocean Transportation business unit as compliance manager, environmental manager and global head of technical operations with a fleet of 450 vessels. More latterly, Global Head of Operations for Noble Chartering Hong Kong.
• -Incident response team leader for 20 years.
• -Chairman of Rightship pte for 2 years and Director for over 8 years.
• -Member of the Equasis Advisory Board for over 18 years.
• -Fellow of The Nautical Institute and Younger Brother of Trinity House.
• -14 years at sea as Master to cadet on a variety of ship types. 3 years with London law firm Norton Rose and one year with Lloyds Register.
• -A recognised global industry figure, speaker at many international conferences and the IMO.
