Rosebel Gold Mine, Suriname: The Rosebel gold mine is located in the mineral rich Brokopondo district in north eastern Suriname, South America. Suriname is a former Dutch colony situated in northern South America bordering the Atlantic Ocean between French Guiana and Guyana.
Essakane Gold Mine, Burkina Faso: The Essakane project is located in north-eastern Burkina Faso, West Africa. It straddles the boundary of the Oudalan and Seno provinces in the Sahel region of Burkina Faso and is approximately 330 km northeast of the capital, Ouagadougou. It is situated 42 km east of the nearest large town and the provincial capital of Oudalan, Gorom-Gorom.
Doyon Division Gold Mines, Québec: The Doyon Division is comprised of the Doyon and Mouska underground gold mines, located approximately 40 kilometres east of Rouyn-Noranda and 80 kilometres west of the city of Val d’Or in northwestern Québec, Canada. The Doyon Division covers an area of 2,258 hectares and is situated within the Cadillac-Bousquet gold belt in the Abitibi region, one of the most prolific gold mining camps in Canada. The Doyon property consists of 116 claims and a mining lease that covers 1,381 hectares. The Mouska property is contiguous with the western border of the Doyon property. This 877 hectare property is held through 22 claims and two mining leases. The mines of the Doyon Division are readily accessible year round by existing paved roads and benefit from available water supply and electric power supply sources.
Niobec Niobium Mine, Québec: The Niobec underground niobium mine is located twenty five kilometres northwest of Ville de Saguenay (Chicoutimi), within the limits of the municipality of Saint-Honoré, Québec. This area is approximately 200 kilometres north of Québec City. The Niobec property covers a total area of approximately 1,735 hectares, comprising two mining leases and also includes 43 claims totalling 1,605.6 hectares. The Niobec Mine is readily accessible by existing paved roads and benefits from available water supply and hydroelectric generated power supply from the regional power grid. The Niobec mine is surrounded by a mixture of forest and farms.
Sadiola Gold Mine, Mali: The Sadiola Gold Mine is located in southwest Mali, West Africa near the Senegal Mali border, approximately 70 kilometres south of the town of Kayes, the regional capital. Kayes has a population of roughly 100,000 people and is located 510 kilometres northwest of the Mali capital Bamako.
Yatela Gold Mine, Mali: The Yatela Gold Mine is located 25 kilometres north of the Sadiola Gold Mine in southwest Mali, West Africa near the Senegal-Mali border, approximately 50 kilometres to the SSW of the town of Kayes, the regional capital. Kayes has a population of roughly 100,000 people. The city is located 510 kilometres northwest of the Mali capital Bamako.
