About

Founded in 1933, the Idaho Hospital Association is a statewide, nonprofit trade association that brings hospital/health care leaders together to identify issues of mutual concern and to address these issues in a responsible manner that ensures quality health care for those that it serves throughout Idaho.

While its primary focus is state and federal government relations and advocacy efforts on behalf of its members, IHA also provides other valuable membership services such as consultation on matters such as physician relations and hospital law, group unemployment compensation program, quality and patient safety, workforce development, education programs, data collection and interpretation, and other member services. We work diligently with Idaho’s Congressional Delegation, the American Hospital Association, the Idaho Legislature, and other health care associations to influence health care related issues on behalf of our membership.
