IFER - Institute of Forest Ecosystem Research, Ltd., is an independent, private, research organization. The core activity of the company is to carry out projects from wide range of clients around the world. IFER is based in the Czech Republic close to Prague in small town of Jilove. Currently there are around 30 employees in the company.

IFER is formed by two parts:

IFER-Institute of Forest Ecosystem Research, dedicated to research and

IFER-Monitoring and Mapping Solutions, focused on development of the
Field-Map technology.

Development of methods for structurally rich forests, application of statistical inventory, development of forest management plans

Biology and ecology of forest game, support for game management, problem of forest grazing

Software Development
Software development on demand, original software solution for field
data collection, mapping and analysis, database development and application, advanced technological solutions for field measurement
