IBRAD established in 1985, is a non-profit professional bio-social research-based Institute and recognized and supported by different state and central government of India, the Ford Foundation, DFID, Arcadis Euroconsult, SIDA, JICA and World Bank and some National and International organizations. IBRAD was established in purpose of growing need for:

Understanding the concepts of biological, social and other natural sciences, through the systemic approach and unifying these concepts for developing a coherent body of knowledge

Thus applying the body of knowledge and skills through integrated training and educational programmes to address the problem of severe degradation of natural resources and social environment, upon which our survival depends.
