About

Indonesia AIDS Coalition (IAC)
is a community-based organization working with stakeholders to improve transparency, accountability and community participation in AIDS programs.

VISION

Their vision is a world without stigma and discrimination in which the rights of PLWHA and other affected populations of AIDS are recognized, protected and met. In this vision, they want to specifically emphasize the right to health, education, employment, decent living and the rights of the child.

The
mission of the IAC Mission is to work with and for affected key populations to ensure the fulfillment of the rights of PLWHA, the creation of enabling environments and to promote good governance of AIDS programs so that they are participatory, transparent and accountable.

The Indonesian AIDS Coalition (IAC) was established in 2011. Although still young, they have made a significant leap in their performance. Their goal is to keep striving for improvement. IAC has evolved into an ODHA organization capable of mobilizing communities to campaign and advocate in order to fulfill the basic rights of PLWHA and AIDS-affected groups. IAC has developed a communication platform that encourages collaboration across all the major affected populations on cross-cutting issues.

IAC support partners include: the Ministry of Health, the National AIDS Commission, the Ford Foundation, Asia Pacific Network for PLHIV (APN +), HIVOS, UNAIDS, Treat Asia and other partners that they can not mention one by one.
