About

The fundamental mission of the INFA Foundation, going back to 1945, is to support young people and adults to access employment through vocational/professional training and qualification. 

INFA Foundation continues a pioneering commitment that began more than 70 years ago, inspired by a social, human and innovative vision. 

Throughout its history, the involvement of INFA serving social advancement and access to employment through vocational training has given it its place among the biggest players in its field.

Our training offer today

150 training products in 4 strategic sectors in our 40 training centres and schools :

  • Trade, Sales, Teleservices 

INFA is a foundation recognized to be of public utility by the French government since 2016.  The core of our pedagogical project reflects the founding values of our institute :

  • Improving professional competences, as a guarantee of access to employment and job security and as a means of gaining professional autonomy,
  • Action, as a pedagogical principle to acquire genuine professional skills through lived experiences combining soft skills, vocational skills and knowledge,
  • Education, as a fundamental precept of individual and collective development and the learning about citizenship,
  • Support in order to guarantee the success of individual training paths and integration in employment

INFA in Europe

INFA has been participating for more than 40 years in educational activities and projects with partners throughout Europe, today we have :

  • + 50 European partners : training centres, professional schools, universities…
  • + 100 contacts with host company providing internships for our students 
  • + 700 young people participating every year in French-German intercultural youth exchanges
  • + 170 learners who have completed an internship in Europe with support of the  Erasmus + programme since 2014

THE MISSIONS OF THE INFA FOUNDATION

Since it was founded in 1945 under the initial name of Center de Culture Ouvrière (CCO), INFA's objectives are social promotion, integration and employment, with the constant aim of providing an appropriate and operational response to training needs. professional public welcomed, each year, in its establishments in France. 

The INFA, National Institute of Training and Application, has supported the employment and qualification of more than one million people for nearly 75 years. Last year, in 2016, more than 21,000 trainees in 8 regions received professional training at the Foundation.

Today, the INFA Foundation, recognized for its public utility, is counting on you, partners, patrons, individuals, companies, to perpetuate this pioneering spirit of training actors to build the future of its accompanied public, especially the most vulnerable. and away from the job.
