Industria Paraguaya de Cobre S. A. (Paraguayan Industry of Copper) INPACO is the first Paraguayan Company engaged in manufacturing of insulated copper and aluminum cables for low voltage, and bare cables for low and medium voltage. The industrial plant is located in Villeta City, 40 km away from Asunción, with 10,000 square meters of floor space. Energy and Communication Companies,Construction and Installation Companies and Specialty Industries and Businesses are among our major clients. Founded in 1977-with Paraguayan and Brazilian capital contribution- its industrial plant was inaugurated in 1979.
It began its industrial activity by manufacturing insulated copper cables for low voltage, building-wires and flexible cords. Meeting market demands, it progressively increased its production lines, adding telephone drop cables, aluminum cables and energy cables. In august 2001, their Quality Assurance System -based on ISO 9001 standard- was certified by the SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance). In august 2002, they obtained the INMETRO-UC conformity marking for their products. Because their customer-centric working philosophy and following a quality criteria in all processes, INPACO has earned the trust of its clientswhich positions it as a main provider of electrical conductors in the domestic market.
