Established in 1986 with a registered capital of 100 million yuan, Zhongyi Instek Import & Export Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Instruments Import and Export (Group) Corporation and a third-level enterprise of China General Technology Group.

Since its establishmen, the company has been focusing on the field of mechanical and electrical products and technical services. At present, it is the only system integration enterprise in China that has its own brand of TV OB truck, independent design and self-maintenance capabilities.

The high-definition broadcast vehicle designed and manufactured by the company for CCTV, Beijing TV and other media played a huge role in a series of major state events such as the Beijing Olympics, the 60th anniversary of the National Day military parade, and the live broadcast of the party's 18th National Congress.
