The ISTEAH wants an academic institution of excellence, primarily dedicated to the training of scientists and innovators of the highest caliber throughout the country: postdoctoral, doctoral (PhD), Master (MSc, M.Sc.A.), as well as advanced continuing education in science and technology. The ISTEAH is well established in the different regions of the country where it will be recognized for the quality and value of the training he will provide for his active role in the scientific, technological, economic and social across the country.

The ISTEAH also create research centers and entrepreneurship centers to value innovations from the activities of its centers and support for the pre-startup of innovative technology companies with high added value from research carried out at its centers.
