Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (National Institute for Agricultural Research) (INRA) (Morocco)

The National Institute for Agricultural Research "INRA" has the mission to undertake research for agricultural development. It is a public institution whose origins go back to 1914 with the creation of the first official agricultural research services. He has recently undergone a structural reorganization aimed at modernizing his management process. INRA operates through ten regional centers of agricultural research and 23 experimental areas spread over the national territory and covering the various agrosystems of the country.  INRA's research projects are defined with the participation of partners, clients and regional prescribers. They are conducted in thirty research units hosted by the Regional Centers. They are supervised at the central level by ten scientific departments with a disciplinary vocation. To fulfill its mission and be in tune with scientific news, INRA maintains partnerships with national and international organizations, development structures, the private sector and non-governmental organizations.
