The Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is one of the specialized research institutes directly under the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Agricultural Economics Institute). It was originally known as the Agricultural Economic Research Institute and was formally established on May 10, 1958.
