Founded in 1999, Anis is the first non-governmental, nonprofit organization focused on bioethics research, advice, and training in Latin America. Headquartered in Brasilia, Anis develops its activities with a multidisciplinary team of professionals with extensive experience in social research, political advocacy, strategic litigation, and communication projects on violations and advocacy in fields such as sexual rights, reproductive rights, disability, mental health, violence, and criminal and socio-educational systems.
