About

The Institute of Human Promotion is the oldest of Nicaragua non - governmental organization, was founded in 1966, was until December 1979 which obtained its legal status under the banner of INPRHU (Decree 213) and its statutes were approved in February 1980 (Decree 273).

The INPRHU Madriz Delegation was created in June 1990, with the support of cooperating organizations that identified with the mission and spirit of work, initially promoting preventive health projects in the community.

The Human Promotion Institute is a Civil, non-profit, non-governmental Foundation that works for the human rights and welfare of Children, Adolescents, families and communities in the department of Madriz.

What do they do

- They promote Human development through the formulation, management of projects and resources, development and implementation of communication strategies, awareness and dissemination oriented to the defense and fulfillment of human rights.
- They promote socio-economic development through technical support, implementation of new technologies, education for the promotion of behavioral changes and facilitating rural micro-credits.
- They strengthen local capacities with training processes and technical support.
- They articulate their efforts in networks and social actors, and educate for the development and construction of citizenship through training processes.
