What is the IETS

The Institute of Health Technology Assessment (IETS) is a non-profit corporation, with mixed and private participation, with its own assets, created as stipulated in Law 1438 of 2011. Its members are the Ministry of Health and Protection Social, Invima, the National Institute of Health, Colciencias, Ascofame and the Colombian Association of Scientific Societies. 

Institutional Values

• Technical trust : necessary to ensure that the quality of the products and activities developed by each employee are aligned with the mission objectives of the Institute.
• Trust ethics: it is related to the fact of being transparent in the proceedings, avoiding exposing oneself to conflicts of interest and maintaining the confidentiality of information relevant to the Institution.
• Teamwork: involves the willingness to work harmoniously and share own knowledge with other colleagues within the organization.
