The Institute of Agricultural Innovation of Panama (IDIAP) is the government institution whose main function is to investigate to generate, adapt, validate and disseminate agricultural knowledge and technologies, framed within the policies, strategies and guidelines of the agricultural sector.

MISSION

Strengthen the national agrotechnological base to contribute to the competitiveness of agribusiness, sustainability, socio-ecological resilience of agriculture and food sovereignty, for the benefit of Panamanian society.

VISION 

An IDIAP committed to small and medium producers of family farming and agribusiness, in tune with their needs, demands and aspirations, recognized as the main agricultural research and innovation institution in the country.
