The Institute of Planning and Promotion of Energetic Solutions in the Non Interconnected Zones - IPSE, is a public entity of the National Order, affiliated to Ministry of Mines and Energy of Colombia.
IPSE provides structural energy solutions in rural communities as a factor of fairness and national security, with criterias of effectiveness and efficiency, based on the continuous improvement of its processes with environmental responsibility and in healthy and safe working conditions for the parties stakeholders, ensuring compliance with the law applicable to the activities developed and other requirements to which the organization subscribes.

IPSE improves the living conditions of communities, offering a structural energy solutions, with environmental conservation principles and respect for diversity, supported on a team in constant formation and growth.
VISION
IPSE supported on research based on high quality standards and efficiency, will position itself in Latin America as an institute that offers structural energy solutions and promotes energizing alternatives in harmony with nature.
INSTITUTIONAL GOALS
•Evaluate technically and financially energy projects in the rural sector.
•Investigate and promote energy solutions based on conventional and unconventional technologies.
•Monitor and perform follow up of the provision of the electric service in the Non Interconnected Zones.
•Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes, minimizing environmental impacts and occupational hazards of the Integrated Management System.
•Improve the satisfaction of stakeholders (customers suppliers, contractors, community, monitoring entities, visitors) of IPSE.
•Develop core competencies ensuring security and integrity of our employees and contractors.
