InterAction’s Work
InterAction’s Members adhere to standards drawn up by InterAction, which aim to ensure accountability and transparency in financial management, fundraising, governance, and program performance. With its Members at its side, InterAction:
Provides Research and Updates: InterAction’s regular field mission reports, white papers, and publications provide timely updates on global affairs and issues faced by its Members and Partners in the global development and humanitarian assistance sectors.
Educates: Annually, InterAction hosts the InterAction Forum, CEO Retreat, and over 800 meetings that convene Members, Partners, future leaders, outside experts, government officials, and stakeholders to discuss ongoing issues, encourage cross-sector collaboration and evaluate the sector's progress.
Influences Government: InterAction mobilizes Members to work with government officials at all levels to guarantee ongoing political and financial support. InterAction’s Members receive timely information on legislative, policy, and budgetary movement that directly and indirectly impacts their work.
Engages in Global Processes: InterAction represents Member perspectives through involvement in the United Nations Inter-Agency Standing Committee. It leads Member engagement through its role on the Grand Bargain Facilitation Group for effective information sharing and collective positioning between donors and aid providers.
