International Coffee Partners (ICP), is an established company with a not-for-profit status that is a leading promoter of impact-oriented support to coffee farmer families and youth in producing regions. Together with its implementer, Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS), ICP develops and fosters a holistic approach to supporting farmers and their families. By emphasizing the human being and people’s perspectives, it accomplishes the primary objective. Offering “help for self-help” develops farmers’ ownership while at the same time, meeting their expectations. Farmers should always operate their businesses freely without outside pressure or becoming reliant on a particular actor.

ICP is convinced about the importance of addressing the livelihood concepts of smallholder coffee farmers and their families as a core element of sustainable development in the sector. It means stressing the demand for investing at the bottom of the pyramid with particular importance on women and youth. It has been the foundation of the work that has validated the long-term commitment of ICP.
