About

The International Confederation: Strengthening Humanity
The International Confederation (IB) is a free agency of youth, social and educational work. Their goal is to help people develop in freedom, to shape their lives, to integrate into society, to take personal responsibility and to shape social development

The vision - the human being in focus.
Since its founding in 1949, IB has been committed to helping people. Shortly after the end of the war countless young people were parents, homeless and unemployed. Many of them had never gone to school, had no prospects for the future. The "International Covenant for Cultural and Social Work", as he called himself at the time, set himself the goal of supporting the young people.

The brand core of the IB has not changed since then. At the IB they are committed to people. No matter where they come from, what social rank they have or what past. They do not just want to help them in the short term. It is their goal to enable them in the long term to master their everyday life with all challenges, ups and downs.

Mission - Realize goals, promote diversity
They help people to realize their own goals and thus lead them into a successful future. They impart knowledge and show new perspectives.

They promote social and cultural diversity and perceive each person individually.

They help their clients to find their place in society and to feel comfortable without having to give up their own identity. They offer an environment in which differences are not perceived negatively but enriching for everyone.

They take on important social tasks and thus bear social responsibility. Everybody finds - regardless of personal background - fair chances and security.
