From the outset, International University of Rabat (UIR) has developed a highly attractive model of innovative teaching which has soon gained renown for its professionalism and rigour both at the national and international levels.

UIR is the first university to have been set up as part of a partnership between the State and the private sector in the field of higher education. This partnership allows UIR to work towards the attainment of its objectives: excellence in education, research and active participation in the socio-economic development of the Kingdom and the region, at large.

Our efforts, combined with continued commitment on the part of our academic partners, allow us to offer Moroccan and foreign students high level schemes of studies which are in some cases rewarded by two degrees.

UIR DEGREES

In compliance with Law 01-00, and in recognition of the quality of education provided by UIR, an institution which has spurred the dynamics of genuine scientific research, innovation and seen to the excellence of its own scientific and social infrastructure, the National Commission for the Coordination of Higher Education has approved UIR’s move to gain recognition by the State. This implies that degrees awarded by UIR will all be accepted and recognized as being equivalent in value to the degrees awarded by State universities. The decree pertaining to this Recognition will list the degrees awarded by UIR, along with equivalent national degrees.

In its goal of becoming an internationally renowned university offering High Quality Education; the development of educational programs that promote such internationalization through projects that facilitate the mobility of students and faculty is fundamental to its being.

UIR’s international strategy revolves around the following:

- Hosting a large number of foreign students;
- Promoting the mobility of UIR students, teachers and staff;
- A partnership policy premised on voluntary cooperation with various renowned schools and foreign universities;
- Registration of research projects in international contracts;
- Establishment of a convergence platform geared towards active exchange of knowledge between countries of the South and countries of the North.
