The Alliance for Reconciliation strives for a world in which the respect for life and the dignity, freedom and individuality of every human being are at the center of society and politics, and active nonviolence is realized as a principle of action. In this reconciliation-led world, oppressive and inhuman structures and ideologies are replaced by a culture of peace, grown from religious and humanistic traditions.

As part of the international peace movement, the Austrian Reconciliation Alliance is working non-violently for a just and sustainable peace.
