At Ipse de Bruggen we believe that more is always possible. They believe it is important that clients can do what they really want. They help them with this, no matter how small that extra step is. They want this not only now, but also in the future. 

What they do now will affect people's lives and environments in the future. They don't want to leave the earth any worse for them. That is why sustainability is their top priority. This means that they think about the environment. They do this in healthcare and in the plans they make.  

In the middle of society

They believe it is important that their clients can participate in society. That is why they arrange meetings between their clients, their relatives, employees and the people around them.

They offer daytime activities in the form of catering locations, workshops or shops. Beautiful products are made in their workshops by reusing materials. They work with different companies. They encourage them to work with people who find it difficult to find a job.

Green Deal

Ipse de Bruggen is one of the signatories of the Green Deal: 'The Netherlands on its way to sustainable care'. This is a collaboration between Dutch healthcare organizations and the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. With their signature they promise to become more sustainable and to use less fossil energy. These are difficult words. It means that they think about the environment. They do this by making adjustments in the field of real estate, generating and purchasing green energy, making transport more sustainable and waste separation and recycling. 

They are also making progress in the field of sustainable mobility. For example, five Ipse de Bruggen locations have been selected to run a pilot in the field of transport and parking. The parking options, any electric charging points and the accessibility for cars and bicycles have been mapped out for these locations. 

Healthy living environment 

They offer their clients and employees a healthy, clean and safe environment in which to live and work. They do this in different ways. At Ipse de Bruggen you are no longer allowed to smoke in many places. Another example is that they want more different types of plants and animals on their property.

In addition, they encourage their clients and employees to live in a healthy way. They do this by moving with their mascot MOEF. They also have programs such as Samen Fit and a Fitcoin app.
