About

ABOUT

The Mandel Foundation was founded in 1953. Over the years, developing outstanding leaders has become their most important goal.

The Mandel Foundation is an operating foundation. They support leadership educational programs at their own institutions and with select universities and organizations, and are guided by these operating principles:

Direct, operational control

They believe they have the greatest impact when they have direct, operational control of their programs.

Regular, rigorous evaluations

Each of their programs has an evaluation component. Their professional staff and external experts provide ongoing assessments of their programs.

Inclusive approach

Their programs are open to all who support their basic values and include people of various faiths, political outlooks and backgrounds.

Long-term commitment

They aim to provide all of their initiatives with sufficient time to fully develop, which increases the likelihood that their programs will have an enduring impact.
