Jalles Machado S / A, a large Brazilian company, is a sugar-energy agroindustry located in the São Patrício Valley, in the municipality of Goianésia, State of Goiás.

Jalles Machado is a result of the entrepreneur spirit of Otávio Lage de Siqueira. The company was born with a social mission: generate more jobs and income for Goianésia-GO. And today, is reference in quality, preservation of the environment and social responsibility, besides of being present in several parts of the world with the brand Itajá. Today, there are two industrial units which generate approximately 3,700 direct jobs and make of the cane the main economic activity of the municipality.

Jalles Machado sought, since its creation, to be different in terms of corporate governance. The company works in accordance with the highest governance standards, with high financial discipline and risk management. Commercial, finance and sustainability committees are installed. The first two have national and international reputation external advising, meeting monthly in order to map out strategies and discuss the market overview.
