The Japan Agricultural News began publishing as a "market report" in 1928, and in August 2002, it became a joint-stock company that connects all JAs from the "agricultural cooperative organization" based on the Agricultural Cooperatives Law. It is the only daily agricultural specialty paper in Japan that celebrated its 90th anniversary, and continues to be the comprehensive information media for food and agriculture.

At the core of its business is the publication of the Japan Agricultural News, the only daily newspaper specializing in agriculture in Japan. In addition, there are various things such as "net agri market conditions" showing price indicators of agricultural and livestock products, JA agricultural products direct sales office information paper "Fre Marche", JA public relations consultant, dispatch of overseas agricultural training inspection team and holding various seminars.
