J.C. CONTRATISTAS GENERALES E.I.R.L. was established in 1984 to promote, contract and execute all types of civil works for the construction, mining, hydroelectric, energy and industrial specialties. They have successfully completed several important projects for both the private sector and the public sector. Among these projects they can mention the construction of the Reque and Bahía Eten new sub-station, as well as the civil works of the Trujillo Norte 220 KV sub-station. They have executed civil works for the SE Machupicchu II 138 kv, SE Suriray 138/220 kv and SE Abancay Nueva 138/220 kv of the Machupicchu – Abancay – Cotaruse Transmission Line Project at 220 kv, as well as the construction of civil works for Chilca sub-stations, civil works at Chimbote Nueva 500/220KV, Trujillo Nueva 500/ 220KV, Carabayllo, Chimbote 1 and Trujillo Norte sub-stations. Also, they have developed the construction of the retaining wall of the Tailings Pond No. 03 in the Santa Teresa Mining Unit of the Colquisiri Mine Company. They executed the construction of internal roads and platforms of the Industrial Zone – Tailing Dam of the Antapite Mine. They also executed a total of 32 km of semi-paved road and the execution of 120 drilling platforms of 10m x 15m in Aymaraes, Apurímac Provinces for Southern Peru Cooper. They carried out civil works of the Hydraulic Filling Plant for the Cobriza Mine in Huancavelica, as well as they performed the accesses and platforms construction in the SAMI and MALOO Projects. They made earthworks for Lindley Corporation’s new soft drink bottling plant.
Recently, they have constructed the Mamo line (Mantaro, Marcona, Socabaya and Montalvo), Colcabamba, Ocoña and another one in Nasca. In addition, they are executing a mini power plant of 22 KW in Huaura; among other works executed during these long years of business life.
