Joffe Charitable Trust
About

The Joffe Charitable Trust (set up by Joel and Vanetta Joffe in 1968) supports people working for public benefit in the developing world.

Joel Joffe inspired, encouraged and supported people frrom all walks of life to do extraordinary things for public benefit. The Trust continues his work and builds on his legacy.

Their mission is to inspire and support people to do as much as possible to realise human rights and reduce poverty in developing countries.

The Trustees recognise that there is much need and significant poverty in the United Kingdom. But they believe that there is even greater need in the developing world, and because of that and in order to be effective it is necessary to focus narrowly.

From time to time, the trustees will review the Trust's funding policy. Any changes will be posted on this website. The most recent changes were made in 2018.
