Ltd is an advisory and consultancy firm, dedicated to deliver leading edge solutions in the vertical of Livelihood Promotion, Micro-Small-Medium- Enterprise (MSME) Development and Employment Generation for public and private sector in the domain of social development. Kaarak, believes that an optimum use of demographic dividend through multi-pronged approaches can significantly contribute towards poverty alleviation and equitable growth. The projects undertaken by Kaarak ranges from conducting research by engaging scholars from London School of Economics, to implementing financial inclusion and cluster development project and also marketing support for products, produced by the underprivileged, thereby providing them sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Since the inception of Kaarak, the team has been able to engage with, support and manage projects of Non Profit Organisations, Donor Organisations, Private Organisations and various departments of the Government of India and State Governments in the country. Additionally, marketing services have also been provided to organisations looking to launch their socially conscious products in mainstream markets.
Moreover, Kaarak, has a New Ventures/Incubation cell which has been established with the understanding that to ensure sustainable participation of the economically and socially excluded groups in the value chain continuous innovations and commercialization of these innovations is required. The focus is to use resources easily available to the poor like Jamun, Mahua, Honey etc. as raw material. The New Ventures/Incubation cell is currently leading a project involving Samarth Samiti (in Udaipur, Rajasthan), the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, for developing new products from Jamun.

This service product begins with opportunity identification and ends with capacity development of the communities and support organisations, in order to effectively utilise those opportunities.
