The KAMAZ Group of Companies is the largest automotive corporation in the Russian Federation. KAMAZ PTC is one of the 20 leading global manufacturers of heavy trucks and is in 16th place in terms of production of heavy trucks with a gross weight of over 16 tons. The production capacity is 71 thousand vehicles per year.

The authorized capital of KAMAZ is 35.36 billion rubles. The largest blocks of shares belong to the state and commercial banks.
The unified production complex of the group of organizations of KAMAZ PTC covers the entire technological cycle of the production of trucks - from the development, manufacture, assembly of vehicles and auto components to the sale of finished products and service support.
The process chain group includes several large automotive factories. On the Naberezhnye Chelninskaya industrial site, there are foundry and forging plants, an engine plant (ZD), a press and frame plant (PRZ), an automobile plant (AVZ), a repair and tool plant (RIZ), and the Master Industrial Park. The largest subsidiaries outside the city of Naberezhnye Chelny: PJSC NEFAZ and PJSC Tuimazinsky plant of auto-concrete mixers (Bashkortostan).
The group of organizations of KAMAZ PTC unites 109 companies in Russia, the CIS and far abroad.
In total, 32.7 thousand people work in the group of the technological chain of KAMAZ PTC.
In 2019, 33.5 thousand KAMAZ trucks and 38 thousand power units were produced. Also, according to the results of 2019, spare parts were produced in the amount of 25.8 billion rubles, diversification products - for 7.6 billion rubles.
The consolidated revenue of the KAMAZ Group of Organizations at the end of 2019 amounted to 190 billion rubles (2018 - 186 billion rubles). The main growth was shown by the segments of passenger transport and financial leasing. Revenue from the sale of buses, trailers and special equipment increased by 52% compared to the APPG and amounted to 17,399 million rubles, the group's income from the sale of vehicles under financial leasing amounted to 3,642 million rubles, which is 58% more than in 2018.
KAMAZ PTC retained a high level of investment of 7.5% of the proceeds, continuing the implementation of a large investment project “Development of a model range of KAMAZ vehicles and modernization of capacities for its production”. The difficult situation in the Russian market of heavy trucks, the growth of the financial burden associated with the investment cycle of the company, caused the KAMAZ Group to receive a loss at the end of 2019 in the amount of RUB 1,955 million.
According to the results of 10 months of 2019, the company's share in the Russian market of trucks with a GVW of over 14 tons, according to registration data, reached 45% against 41% a year earlier. In addition, according to the results of 10 months of 2019, the share of KAMAZ in the segment of long-haul tractors increased to 25% (by registrations). In this segment, KAMAZ is represented by KAMAZ-5490 (4x2) and -65209 (6x2) truck tractors.
